About
Kalhara Batangala is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. He received his B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) degree in Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, where he served as Vice
President of the Computer Engineering Society. He has also worked in the telecommunications industry. He joined the department as a Temporary Instructor in January 2026, was appointed Lecturer in August 2026, and currently teaches Mobile Application Development.
