About
Chamod Dissanayake is a Lecturer in Electrical and Information Engineering who obtained his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Ruhuna with First Class Honours in 2025. His academic background is complemented by industry experience at IPD Colombo, where he worked in the Applications Engineering team, gaining practical exposure to engineering solutions. His current research interests focus on distributed energy resources and blockchain driven energy markets within power distribution systems.
