About

With over 15 years of experience in university-level teaching and research, I am an accomplished academic with a strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Information Systems. My work has spanned roles such as Vice Chancellor IUSL Campus,  Visiting Professor at the International University of Japan, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering,  Faculty of Engineering  University of Ruhuna, Head of Academics of the School of Computing at NSBM Green University,  Senior Lecturer of the School of Computing at NSBM Green University,  Head of Academics of the Saegis Campus and Senior Lecturer of the School of Computing at Saegis Campus.

My research interests are broad, covering areas such as Management Information Systems, Mobile Application Programming, Machine Learning, Blockchain technology a Augmented reality and  Virtual Reality. I hold a Japanese patent for the “BuildAngle – Automated Enterprise Resource Planning System based on Super Concrete Mobile Plant & Concrete Plant.”

I have contributed significantly to curriculum development, having developed 12 computing degrees including BSc programs in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, and Management Information Systems.

I am dedicated to fostering excellence in education by integrating empirical research and real-life applications to enhance both personal and institutional development. I believe in providing students with a holistic education that promotes rational thinking and global citizenship.
