Mr. R. Saahith Ahamed has been a Lecturer attached to the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering since January 2024. He completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Information Engineering from the University of Ruhuna. Following his graduation, he worked as a Data Communication Engineer at Huawei, where he gained extensive experience in network operations and management.

During his tenure at Huawei, Saahith Ahamed supervised new site installations and network commissioning, managed network operations for various Huawei Datacom products, and collaborated with global support teams to resolve customer issues. He gained hands-on experience in the Common Core project of one of the foremost telecom providers in Sri Lanka, demonstrating his skills in managing complex network systems. His proficiency with a wide range of network products and network management systems has equipped him with valuable skills and knowledge in the field of data communications.

Saahith Ahamed is passionate about teaching and mentoring students. He aims to bring his industry experience into the classroom to provide practical insights and real-world applications to his students.
