About
Tashma Silva has been a Lecturer attached to the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna since 2023.
She received her B.Sc. Eng. (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University in 2021. She gained industry experience as a trainee electrical engineer at the Ceylon Electricity Board and LTL Transformers (Pvt) Limited. As an undergraduate, she has been recognized on the Dean’s List and has been an active member of various clubs and societies. Prior to her current role, she served as a Temporary Instructor in the Department of Electrical Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, KDU.
