Projects

  • Co-supervisor – EFFECT OF CONTRACTOR-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP TO MINIMIZE CONSTRUCTION DELAY

B.C.A. Fernando, S.N. Malkanthi, D.M.K.N. Senevirathne

Construction delay is a major problem encountered by most construction projects all around the world. There is a strong requirement to identify causes, influencing factors and find applicable measures to minimize the delay up to the most possible extent. This work is directed to investigate the contractor-client relationship, the effect of this relationship on construction delay, and whether it can be positively used to minimize the delay.

Keywords: Contractor-client relationship, Construction delay, Severity index
