Ms. M.S.D. Nimali is an accomplished professional with an MSc by research from the University of Moratuwa and a BSc in Engineering from the University of Ruhuna, along with an AMIE (SL) qualification. Currently serving as a Lecturer in the Design, Materials & Manufacturing Engineering division at the University of Ruhuna, she previously held positions at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University and the University College of Kuliyapitiya. With prior industry experience as a Trainee Mechanical Engineer, Ms. Nimali’s expertise lies in Renewable Energy, Thermodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Materials Science & Engineering. Her research contributions, including publications on tailpipe emissions and wind turbine blade profiles, reflect her commitment to addressing contemporary engineering challenges.
