The 16th edition of the Mister International, held in the vibrant city of Cebu, Philippines, concluded with an electrifying finale, and Sri Lanka’s very own Sudeera Rush Perera, undergraduate of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, following B.Sc.Eng. in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, made his nation proud by clinching not one but two prestigious awards.
Sudeera won the following titles at the grand final night:
- Best National Costume Award: A breathtaking ensemble inspired by Sri Lankan heritage and craftsmanship, designed by LOVI CEYLON, captivated the audience and judges alike. The outfit’s intricate details and storytelling elements set it apart on the international stage.
- Ambassador Award for Kaway Resort and Spa: This recognition highlights Sudeera’s ability to represent brands with sophistication and elegance, reflecting his unique charm and global appeal.
Balancing his demanding academic responsibilities with his passion for modeling and other ventures, Sudeera has demonstrated a unique ability to excel in multiple domains.
