Welcome to the official website of the Department of Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. We are located at Megalle, near the Galle Harbour in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. The Department became the first under the University Grants Commission to offer a Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Honours degree in the country.
The Department of Marine Engineering & Naval Architecture recently hosted a special visit by the Director General of Merchant Shipping.
