With much delight on 22nd August 2022, the Faculty Orientation Ceremony of the 23rd batch was held Physically at the Auditorium of Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna. This is the second consecutive 500+ batch in the history of the faculty.
The orientation ceremony is successfully conducted with invariably leadership of Dr. Chithral Ambawatte, Dean – Faculty of Engineering, and continuous commitment of Dr. Sujeewa Wimalasena, Coordinator – Engineering Education Centre accompanying all academic staff members, all non-academic staff members, and students of the faculty. The ceremony was organized with an insightful welcome speech by Dr. Chithral Ambawatte, the Dean, followed by a refreshing musical cover song by the faculty students and finally a Q&A session with panel of senior lecturers.
As the Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, we warmly welcome the 23rd batch to become successful engineering professionals in the future!
