The Annual General Meetings (AGMs) of three department societies;
- IEEE Student Branch in University of Ruhuna,
- Electrical and Information Engineering Society (EIES) and
- IET on Campus, University of Ruhuna
were held via ZOOM on 21st, 23rd and 27th September, 2021 respectively.
Despite the university was closed for in-person, most of the days in the last year as well as this year due to COVID-19 pandemic, the relevant executive committees have done a remarkable job in arranging several online activities not limited to students in the department also for students in the local university and beyond.
