A 132 kV Single Phase Demonstration Bay has now assembled, outside of the department, next to High Voltage Engineering Laboratory. This is a donation by CEB and a sincere thanks should go to Eng. G.W.V. Priyantha, Chief Engineer, Transmission Asset Management & Condition Monitoring Branch in CEB for releasing these obsolete items from the CEB Yard in Mallawapitiya Grid Substation. Members in Alumni Association of Ruhuna Electrical and Information Engineering (AAREIE) helped the installation works. Indeed, this display is accompanying a new look to the department aesthetically.
