Eminence is one of the competitions organized by the Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity group of IEEE Student Branch in University of Ruhuna. Mainly it involves software. electronics, telecommunication and electric fields related tasks during the competition.
Task 1 – Software Challenge
Task 2 – Dialux design
Task 3 – Network design (Packet Tracer)
Task 4 – Solution for a problem existing in the real world and its demonstration
Notably the priority of team formation is given for female students such that a team must consists of at least 50% female participation and the team leader has to be a female student.
Accordingly, the “Eminence 2.0” competition was successfully conducted on 18th June, 2022 at the department with the participation DEIE students and staff members.
