The undergraduate project “UWB Radio Sensing Platform for Non-Contact Vital Signs Monitoring” supervised by Dr. Chatura Seneviratne, Dr. Amaranath Karunanayake, and Dr. Jagath Gamage won the award “Best Innovative Product – University Category – Southern Province” at the SLASSCOM National Ingenuity Awards 2021. The award ceremony was held on the 30th of March 2021 at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo. Team members were Bandulasena B.N.M., Hansini M.A. and Kahawewidana K.W.P.P.
