Team Scorpion X proudly achieved the 2nd Runners-up position at {Algothon} – the inter-university Algorithms and Coding Competition of Codefest 2025, organized by the Faculty of Computing in Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) on 25.08.2025.
The team earned its place among the Top 30 finalists after competing against more than 90 talented teams representing leading universities and institutes across Sri Lanka.
The team has officially received their trophy, bronze medal, cash prize and certificates at the Codefest Awards Ceremony, which was held on 4th September 2025 at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Malabe.
The achievement was made possible through the commitment and collaboration of T.M.R.G. Thennakoon (EG/2022/5369), K.A.D.H. Keragala (EG/2022/5142) and T.M.T.A.B. Tennekoon (EG/2022/5364) as the team leader, whose guidance and dedication played a vital role in securing this success.
