Symposium Outlook
Large-scale development projects are likely to cause technical setbacks as well as environmental degradation in the absence of proper engineering knowledge and practices backed by outcomes of research. Engineering practices and research outcomes used to solve problems in such engineering projects can serve as examples of engineering excellence for long-term development. ACEPS was formed to provide a forum for discussion of advanced sustainable engineering practices and related research outcomes used in the Asian region.
