Heartfelt congratulations to Dilshara Herath from Team Aero-Sense from the University of Ruhuna for their outstanding achievement in securing 3rd place at the Undergraduate Thesis Project Competition 2024 organized by, IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter Sri Lanka Collaboration with SLTC Centre of Telecommunication Research (CTR). This event brought together Sri Lanka’s brightest minds in Signal Processing.
This success is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and exceptional teamwork. The project, titled “Joint Communication and Sensing at ELF using AI-Enabled Radio Receivers” was developed as their final-year project in the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering at the University of Ruhuna. The project was guided by Dr. Chatura Seneviratne as the supervisor and Prof. Arjuna Madanayake from Florida International University, USA as the co-supervisor.
