Grand Finale of IET Young Woman Engineer of the year 2019 was successfully held on 17th of January 2020 at Hotel Galadari. Department alumna Eng. Ms. Zahara Farook was selected as IET Young Women Engineer 2019.

Special General Meeting of IEEE was held on 07th January of 2020 at ELR at the department to establish Power Energy Society and IEEE Robotics & Automation Society.
