As part of the continuous assessment component of the CE3202 Construction Processes and Technology module, the 3rd-semester students participated in a field visit to the Central Expressway Project – Section 1 (Kadawatha- Meerigama) on 11th February 2026. The students had a valuable opportunity to experience the active construction phase of this mega project during their first field visit.
Dr. S. W. Seneviratne (Module Coordinator), Dr. H. G. S. Mayuranga, Ms. Thenushi Premanath, Mr. Anuradha Kalansuriya, and five instructors (Mr. M. R. M. Rifaadh, Mr. R. M. D. P. P. Rathnayaka, Mr. H. C. R. Wijerathne, Ms. W. V. C. J. Munasinghe, and Ms. U. D. H. Fernando) also joined this visit. Department wishes to thank Dr. S. W. Seneviratne, for organizing this event.
