Professor Tushara Chaminda won the Orator of the Year title at the Vice Chancellor’s Awards and Academic Session 2026, held by the University of Ruhuna on 4 March 2026. The oration was entitled “The Contribution of Pharmaceutical Pollutants in Sri Lankan Waters to Antibiotic Resistance”.
Department extends its heartfelt congratulations to him on this significant achievement, which also brought recognition to the Department for the first time.
