A seminar on “Fire Safety Management” was conducted by Mr. Nalaka Liyanapeli, the Secretary of the Institution of Fire Engineers – Sri Lanka (IFESL) on 14th July 2018. This valuable course was offered by the IFESL, mainly focusing on Mechanical and Civil Engineers. The key objectives of conducting this program was to deliver basic understand on building types and fire safety requirements, assessing the fire risk with building changes, structural fire safety of the buildings, active fire protection systems, fire systems maintenance and facilities for fire brigade operations.
