The session was jointly organized by MMESS and IMechE, Ruhuna Student Chapter in collaboration with Ruhuna Alumni Association of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.
A PhD Scholar at University of Southern Queensland, Australia Mr. Madhubasitha Herath visited the Department and delivered a guest lecture on “Smart Composite Materials” on 18th Thursday 2018. The session was jointly organized by the IMechE Student Chapter of University of Ruhuna in collaboration with the Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering Students’ Society (MMESS).
CAD EAGER 2018 Organized by the Department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering, University of Ruhuna in collaboration with the IESL-YMS , Ruhuna Engineering Students Chapter of the IESL was held on 14th October at TECHNO 2018 Exhibition, BMICH. Five Teams of DMME competed and the ‘team Wizard’ won the second place.
Students of DMME, DEIE, and, DCEE were able to secure several places in the competitions held at Techno 2018 Exhibition, BMICH.
