Continuous monitoring of these signs is very important to capture early warnings as vital signs can change quickly and unexpectedly in time. The current methods for monitoring vital signs, for example, includes time to time patient visits to record the vital sign readings, as commonly used in\u00a0 Intensive Care Units (ICUs) in hospitals. These medical procedures are invasive medical procedures that are uncomfortable for patients and require frequent patient visits. The objective of this project is to use Ultra Wide Band (UWB) radar technology, advanced signal processing techniques and Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to develop a medical platform to track patient&#8217;s vital signs remotely and provide early warnings of the medical conditions. The proposed system can be used in other places beyond ICUs in hospitals. For example, this type of platform will be useful for places such as senior homes, police stations, psychiatric wards and prisons to investigate and take preventive measures for unexplained medical
