Smart plug is the data acquisition system which is used to measure current and voltage parameters necessary for the rest of the processes. The electrical appliances are connected to smart plug and devices obtain power through the smart plug to operate. Presently the elderly population is growing alarmingly and as a result the number of elderly people are in need for care. Falls of elderly ones always lead to several health issues. This emphasizes the importance of monitoring people at risk of falling during their daily activities. The use of wearable sensors has made it possible to take prompt actions for a caregiver. Moreover, once a patient usually goes through a recovery process after an operation, he needs to follow a strict routine.
