That is about 40% of the total intake of 520 to the faculty of Engineering. Unlike pure computing degrees which often concentrate on the software, scientific and mathematical aspects of computing, this course will provide you with a wider range of engineering skills, including in hardware and applications of computing to electronic systems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, University of Ruhuna has more than 20 years experience of in delivering the highest standard engineering degrees. The department has a strong background in electronic engineering, power system engineering, telecommunication engineering, and software engineering. It has highly qualified dedicated staff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: Justify;\">Ruhuna computer engineers <strong>graduate with a solid background in computer science, electrical engineering, and mathematics<\/strong>. This foundation helps our engineers advance the world in digital technology and computer systems. This is also called the graduate profile.
